Tony has made outstanding contributions to the field of Industrial Carbohydrate Chemistry. He has done pioneering work in stable isotope labeling of saccharides and NMR-based structural analysis of carbohydrates. Tony funded Omicron Biochemicals in 1982 and has served as the President and CEO of the company since its inception. For over four decades, Omicron under Tony’s leadership has supplied critical and high-quality carbohydrate reagents and standards to the glycoscience community, facilitating both academic and industrial research.
