The next International Carbohydrate Symposium (ICS 2022) will be held virtually in Brazil: July 10-15, 2022. Information is now available at https://ics2022.ciente.live.

As you already know, in April 2019, the USACICS submitted a proposal to host an ICS in the USA in 2040. This proposal will be considered at the next in-person meeting of the International Carbohydrate Organization, hopefully during the XXXI ICS in 2024.
In 2021, the USACICS was able to provide sponsorship to both CARB and CELL Divisions, as well as Gordon Research Conference on Carbohydrates.
We all thankful to Dr. Nicole Labbe (former CELL representative) for her 7-year service on the committee and are happy to welcome Dr. Maren Roman as a new representative of CELL.
