A Research Chemist position is available immediately at Omicron Biochemicals, Inc. in South Bend, Indiana (www.omicronbio.com).
The primary job responsibilities for the position include chemical and enzymic syntheses of oligosaccharides, and oligosaccharide purification and analysis by HPLC, MS, NMR and other methods. The successful candidate must have an MS or PhD in synthetic organic chemistry and hands-on experience in carbohydrate synthesis. Experience with enzymic synthesis and HPLC/CE analysis is desirable.
